4 Games that’ll make you buy Nintendo Switch!

The release of Nintendo Switch brings with it a new series of Nintendo Games – some awesome memories, and amazing games. We are going to pick out 5 of the best games, as it were.

Some of the games we are going to list were released one after another, and they were also a huge success.

4 Games that’ll make you buy Nintendo Switch!
4 Games that’ll make you buy Nintendo Switch!

We are going to assume (and hope) that these games will be back better with Nintendo Switch in 2017. The best games we think are:

1. ARMS

This game makes you feel like you’re getting the maximum out of the Nintendo Switch. This game has given users the opportunity to bring most out their controllers, and play epic battles. So close to Mortal Kombat, it’s time to get wacky!

2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Fans of the original Mario Kart 8 will obviously find this title very attractive. With the addition of brand new players, this game is nothing like you’ve already played! We are not going to tell you a lot about this game, but trust us when we say this is going to be awesome!

3. Sonic Mania

Nintendo’s biggest strength in 2017 is to draw power from its retro titles. Remember having SEGA? Remember having a blue-hedgehog game that would swift around rolling, collecting coins? Yep, Sonic the Hedgehog in a single game is called Sonic Mania. This game will have pixels now! Many pixels!

4. Super Bomberman R

The most strategy-based game in the entire collection has to be Super Bomberman R. The game was full exciting back then, but we are keeping our fingers crossed for any additional pieces they might add in the game play. For now, the new graphics seem to be complimenting the style of play, this surely is exciting!

This is just the beginning peeps! Nintendo will eventually be back with stronger releases than its launch collection. Keep an eye on the pure Nintendo titles. The hardware will be released in the march of 2017. We can guess that all pre-orders are filled already, and you might just be lucky to get your hands on the early releases of console.

No Change in Refund Policy for No Man’s Sky

Right after the social media blew up for claiming that the Steam was offering refunds of the No Man’s Sky, regardless of the playtime, the news blew up the whole internet, until everyone who disliked the game (that are the majority), upvoted the posts, and attempted a refund.

The headline, however, was misleading the players. Valve has made it clear that there is no exception to its automatic refund policy, even on the subject of No Man’s Sky. The Valve had to drop a PSA at the No Man’s Sky store page to make sure everyone hears about it.

So basically, as their policy states, the refund would automatically take place, or their system would consider any request if “the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours”.

Since the social media blew up with this news, and the players started taking a refund of the game, Valve had to clear its stance. No Man’s Sky is not eligible for automatic funds, in which playtime is beyond two hours, and/or the request is generated after 14 days of purchase.

The concerted effort to blow up the internet had millions of upvotes on social media, how to articles on multiple platforms and some of the players showed up at the Youtube to confirm their refund- but again, this is because of some customer service appellation, and not the exemption made on a wider scale.

So far we haven’t come across a confirmed or approximate number of refunds that have been issued, and we actually might never come to know about it, but if we consider the massive launch of No Man’s Sky, the number of refunds will not be hampering the future of performance of this game- and genre.

The confusion continues, people comments keep on coming, with the major debate on how much playtime should be allowed before refund takes places, you can’t really trust the marketing, and hence you can’t really trust your imagination too.

Did you come across the refund posts too? Let us know what you think of them in the comments section below!

Lindsay Lohan’s GTA 5 Lawsuit goes unconsidered!

Lindsay Lohan sued Take-Two interactive back in 2014, claiming that the gaming studio has used her, and her likeness in GTA5, and in its promotional material, without her consent and permission. The character named Lacey Jonas was alleged of being based on her, but then the character in the red bikini was also mentioned in the allegation, even though Daily Dot previously confirmed that it was served by another model.

Karen Gravano of Mob Wives also filed a similar allegation in 2014, saying that the character of Andrea Bottino was based on her ‘life’ and likeness (coincidence!). Both of the cases have now been tossed out of the court.

Lindsay Lohan’s GTA 5 Lawsuit goes unconsidered!

The specific division of the court in New York ruled that the lawsuits “must fail because defendants did not use [plaintiffs’] name, portrait, or picture” in the game.

As to Lohan’s claim that an avatar in the video game is she and that her image is used in various images, defendants also never referred to Lohan by name or used her actual name in the video game, never used Lohan herself as an actor for the video game, and never used a photograph of Lohan,

It further said

Even if we accept plaintiffs’ contentions that the video game depictions are close enough to be considered representations of the respective plaintiffs, plaintiffs’ claims should be dismissed because this video game does not fall under the statutory definitions of ‘advertising’ or ‘trade’.

it continues.

This videogame’s unique story, characters, dialogue, and environment, combined with the player’s ability to choose how to proceed in the game, render it a work of fiction and satire.

which confers upon it First Amendment protections.

So basically, Lohan’s claim that her image was used to promote game was tossed because the picture of the women in red bikini “are not of Lohan herself, but merely the avatar in the game that Lohan claims is a depiction of her.”

Dark Souls 3 DLC Release Date Revealed

So here’s when you will be able to return to Dark Souls 3.

Dark Souls 3 DLC expansion is called the Ashes of Ariandel, and it will be available on the PlayStation platform from 25th of October this year, as Sony has announced. The trailer for this DLC was posted on twitter, but the video was made price, and since then the tweet has been deleted. Well, this suggests that it was published before the date.

However, this mistake by the account manager has made it clear that the trailer was coming out soon, and it will be posted soon- quite imminently! We will be updating our blog as soon as the video is available or released.

However, previously the news about DLC came to light in February, when the Season Pass was listed on digital storefronts. There will be two expansion packs, as we know, and they will be bundled together with $25 Season Pass. Recently, there was also a tweet that teased us that a major announcement is coming on 24th of August, and for which we can assume that It will be DLC.

There are several possible endings to Dark Souls 3, and although most are anticlimactic, they drive home the loneliness of the paths we took.

Reviewer Mike Mahardy said.

“The old lords have abandoned their posts, and in the hunt to usurp them, we descend into those dark valleys, and climb those imposing peaks. This is the essence of Dark Souls III: periods of doubt, followed by a great reward. The journey may be rocky, but there’s a throne waiting at the end.

Watch Dogs 2 Players Will be Able to Fight With Each Other

Sounds cool, yeah? Hackers would get along together, except for when they shouldn’t! So the story is since each player in Watch Dogs 2 is a member of DedSec society, then each of them would be getting along together, without violent matches. Watch Dogs 2 will be featuring Bounty Hunter component that will set a real life hacker upon real life hacker.

This person-person mode will kick in as soon as a player attracts the police’s attention, and as a Bounty Hunter, you will be working with police to wipe the other player off the Earth.

However, the new doesn’t intend to discourage solidarity between the players, but it will pull off some of the major chase scenes – Ubisoft claims.

Bounties can be triggered two different ways: First, causing a high level of chaos can cause the resulting police chase to spill into other players’ games , giving them the opportunity to join in and help the cops chase you down. Alternately, you can start the hunt manually (using the Contacts app in protagonist Marcus Holloway’s phone) by hacking your own wanted status, which lets other players join the hunt.

You will be able to access this feature online, but you can also switch online features entirely off – if you are not an online player. The game will be launching on 15th of November, this year, and the demo video is out on Youtube. (psst, you should check it out!)
